Virginia Beach, VA (1/27/08) At approx 1430 hrs a fire was reported in the chimney of a 2sty attached townhouse. Upon arrival of Engine 18 and Battalion 3 a working fire was called with fire extension into the eves in the rear of the structure. 1 line was put into service, and a 5" line was laid but not charged. Crews pulled the exterior of the chimney and the interior of the 2nd floor bedroom to make access to the fire. The small fire was brought under control quickly. There were no reported inj's on scene.
